Why do I need to give my address and email address?Your email address is needed in order for you to send and receive messages to others. Other members will not see your actual email address, only your user name. Your address allows us to track the number of members by location so that we can make sure we have resource information available for those locations. What is the criteria to become a Resource and why do I not see very many Resources in my area?Resources must provide a valid EIN# which is proof that they are a non-profit organization recognized by the IRS. My Compassion Connection was launched in July of 2013 and we are working to add as many Resources in as many different areas as possible. Please continue to check back on the site or ask Members of your group to suggest Resources that may have been helpful to them. We encourage Members to make Resources aware of the site.
What is a Group and how do I join one?Members have the option to join a group of individuals that are dealing with similar life experiences. When setting up your member profile, you can choose to be included in a group based on the life experiences that you select in the drop down menu.
What is a BLOG?A BLOG is an area where members are able to openly share personal opinions and experiences with others. Daily inspiration can be found on our BLOG and any member is able to participate in a BLOG session. We understand that everyone has their own opinion and there will not always be agreement; however, we ask that members state their opinions in a courteous and respectful manner.
How do I donate and how much can I give? There is no limit to how much or how little you can give. Donations can be made easily and securely through pay pal offering a variety of methods such as debit, credit, bank account with drawl, etc. You will receive an email confirmation for your records.
